General Notes: Husband - Joseph Wilson

He was a native of Washington county, PA, and came with his parents to Butler county in 1818. In 1837 he settled on a farm in Venango township, later occupied by his sons Rob­ert C. and Adam C., the larger portion of which he cleared and improved, resid­ing there until his death. Though not a member of any church, he was a liberal sup­porter of religion.
