General Notes: Husband - Thomas Paxton


He was a descendant of Thomas and Jane (Ashton) Paxton, who came from Scotland to Adams County, Pennsylvania.
He and his wife were among the pioneer settlers of Washington County, Pennsylvania, where they lived for many years. He survived his wife and spent his last days with his daughter, Rebecca Hosack, dying at the advanced age of ninety years.
