General Notes: Husband - Thomas Cratty

He was born in Muddy Creek township, Butler county, Pennsylvania, and grew to man-hood on the homestead farm. At the age of twenty-eight he settled on his own farm in Franklin township which he cleared and improved, and where he resided for more than fifty-five years. Politically, he was always a Democrat, and in religious faith, he was a member of Mt. Nebo Presbyterian church.
