General Notes: Husband - Samuel Craig


He was a native of Ireland and came in 1799 to Franklin County, Pennsylvania, where he was married. In 1811, the family removed to the vicinity of Hannastown, Westmoreland County, where he was engaged in teaching, his life occupation. In 1822 the family removed to the vicinity of Marion, Indiana County, where Mr. Craig became widely known as an early educator.
