General Notes: Husband - John Craig


He was born in the Conecocheague valley, near Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. In 1811, the family removed to the vicinity of Hannastown, Westmoreland County, and in 1822 they removed to the vicinity of Marion, Indiana County.
The Craig farm was patented in 1800, in the name of William P. Brady and was called "Green Park." The orchard was planted by Jeremiah Brown, the father of Mrs. Craig, in 1808.
