General Notes: Husband - Moses Coulter


He came to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, about 1790, and settled near the center of South Fayette township.

He settled in Fayette township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in an early day, and was, during active life, among the most prominent of its citizens. He was an extensive farmer and erected a mill, which he successfully operated for many years. He was a religious man, and took a prominent part in the founding of Bethany Church.
He owned, at his death, some four hundred acres of land, which was equally divided among his children.
