Woman to mark 80th birthday
Dorothy E. Cotherman of Knox RD I will celebrate her 80th birthday Friday, May 16.
An open house for relatives and friends will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in the Wentlings Corners hall at Knox RD 3. Those attending are asked to omit gifts.
Cotherman was born in 1917 at Knox, a the daughter of Albert and Lola (Berlin) Fye.
She was married July 17, 1937, in Ninevah to Stanley (Link) H. Cotherman. The couple resided mostly in the Knox area, although they did live in several states dur­ing their 48 years of marriage.
He died in 1986.
She has two daughters, Dianne Oschman of Seneca RD 1 and Joanne Venuto of Canton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several step-great­grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Cotherman is active in the Edenburg Presbyterian Church in Knox.
