KNOX — Albert J. (Bob) Fye, 63, of Knox RD 2 died at 1 pm Thursday in the Oil City Hospital following an extended illness.
Born January 1, 1891, in Red Key, Ind., he was a son of Oliver and Sarah O'Hara Fye.
He was married July 3, 1916, to Lola Berlin, who survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Dorothy) Cotherman of Knox; three sons, Wilbert, Leroy and Walter, all of Knox; 11 grand­children and 10 great-grand­children.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne, in 1961 and three sisters,
Mr. Fye was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Knox.
He was superintendent of the Edinburg Oil and Gas Co., retiring in 1959 after 37 years' service. He was a lifelong resident of Knox,
The Fyes celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1966.
Friends will be received after 7 pm today at the William N. Rupert Funeral Home in Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. Lewis R. Fox, pastor of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating,
Interment will be in St. Paul Union Cemetery, Knox RD 2. Friends are asked to con­tribute to their favorite charity.

Mrs. Lola Mae Fye
KNOX — Mrs. Lola Mae Fye, 86, of Knox RD 2, died at 4 pm Saturday in Bonetti Health Care Center in Harrisville, where she had resided for the past three years.
She was born February 8, 1894, in Forest County, a daughter of John J. and Katherine Exley Berlin.
She and Albert J. (Bob) Fye were married July 3, 1916. He died October 10, 1974.
Mrs. Fye was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Knox and the ladies auxiliary of De-Hart-Roseman-Wenner American Legion Post in Lamartine.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Stan­ley (Dorothy E.) Cotherman of Knox RD 2; three sons, Wilbert Fye and Walter L. Fye, both of Knox RD 2, and S. Leroy Fye of Knox RD 1.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and a brother, Samuel L. Berlin Sr. of Knox RD 1.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Wayne A. Fye, in March 1961; two sisters and three broth­ers.
Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm yesterday in the William N. Rupert Funeral Home in Knox.
Services will be held there at 2 pm today with Rev. Dean Tyson, pastor of Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery in Knox RD 2.
A memorial service was conducted at :30 pm yesterday in the funeral home by members of the ladies auxiliary of the DeHart-Rossman-Wenner American Legion Post.
