General Notes: Husband - David Kuhn

He lived at the old homestead near Alpsville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, on the Youghiogheny river.

He owned a grist mill on the Youghiogheny river at Kuhn's Landing, which was started by his father, Adam Kuhn, and which obtained large business throughout that section of country, and the phrase developed, "As good as wheat in Kuhn's mill." He was a man of great strength and force of character, and was much respected throughout the community. Later on he purchased a farm in North Huntington township, Westmoreland County, and later removed to Ligonier, Westmoreland county, where he died.
