General Notes: Husband - Jesse McQuiston

He followed the lumber trade for many years. In December, 1859, he moved his family from Lawrence County, PA, to Greenville, where he worked in a saw-mill about ten years, afterward serving for six successive years as constable. In 1869 he began operating a small livery stable, which grew into quite a flourishing business. The family attended the Methodist Episcopal Church, and Mr. McQuiston was a Republican in politics.
