General Notes: Husband - James F. Carroll

Worth Twp, Mercer Co, PA
He received his education at the log school-house, and in 1861 enlisted in Company G, One Hundredth Pennsylvania Volunteers, and served until his honorable discharge from disability. He was a member of Sandy Lake Post, G. A. R., and of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, and voted the Republican ticket.
He and his wife had seven children, only one was still living in 1888.
