General Notes: Husband - Rev. William Carroll


He was a Methodist Episcopal minister, and was in the War of 1812. He came when but a small boy with his father from near where the city of Pittsburgh now is, to Worth Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

He was a Presiding Elder in the Erie Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was a native of Washington County, Pennsylvania, but moved to Mercer County at an early day.
