General Notes: Husband - John M. Carringer


After being engaged at Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania, for many years as a merchant he met with financial reverses and then resided for some years at Hadley, later returning to Sheakleyville, where he remained until his death. He was an earnest and honored member of the United Presbyterian Church and a Republican of long standing who was honored with many local offices. [HMC 1909, 981]
