He came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, with his brothers about 1827. He lived in Rockland township until around 1838. He then moved to Franklin, Venango County, and lived there until 1849 when he sold his lot. He is next found in Scrubgrass township, Venango County, where he lived a few years before moving to Clinton township.
