General Notes: Husband - John Canon

---

After marriage he and his wife settled in Shenango Township, near Middlesex, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, in the last decade of the eighteenth century, where both spent the remaining years of their lives, dying on their farm near West Middlesex. They left a family of four sons and two daughters, all of whom grew to maturity in Mercer County.
He served in the War of 1812, was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and voted the Democratic ticket.
