General Notes: Husband - Robert McFarland


He and his wife immigrated from Ireland to the vicinity of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, whence they removed to Washington County, and settled near Steubenville, Ohio. In 1806 they removed to Hartford Township, Trumbull County, Ohio.

He was a native of Washington County, Pennsylvania, who settled in Trumbull County, Ohio, on the State line road, two and one-fourth miles south of Orangeville, in 1806, and purchased a tract of 100 acres of land.

His wife died several years after him.
