General Notes: Husband - Robert Campbell

After the death of the father, the homestead farm was left by will to John and Robert Campbell, by whom it was divided, John retaining the homestead, it being the north part, and Robert inherited the south side of the farm.

He was born on the home place in Smith township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and in boyhood he assisted in the farm duties and attended the subscription schools. He married and they settled on a part of the old home farm where he became a very successful business man. Politically he was a member of the Democratic party. He died on the farm.
