General Notes: Husband - Alexander Boyle

The Boyle family was originally resident in Scotland, but at the time of the religious persecutions, they migrated to the North of Ireland, and lived there for some generations, before any of the family came to America. They were living in the vicinity of Ballyney Hinch, County Down, Ireland, and the family was noted for their erudition, a number of the men being school teachers, and others following other lines of professional work.

He was a farmer and miller near Ballyney Hinch, County Down, Ireland, and is buried in the graveyard near his home. He was a Seceder and very strict in his religious views. He had seven children.
