General Notes: Husband - David Miner Postlethwaite

On a part of his father's original purchase, one mile east of Perrysville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, Mr. Postlethwait began his domestic life in a small house, which he replaced in 1886 by a comfortable two-story residence. He also erected good barns and other outbuildings, cleared the land and placed it under a high state of cultivation, making it one of the most desirable places of Perry township.
