General Notes: Husband - Andrew Black


At the age of nine years he was brought to Venango county, PA, by his parents, and located on French Creek, in Canal Township, one-half mile from the Mercer county line. He purchased his own farm in 1851. He was the father of nine children, six sons and three daughters. [HVC 1879, 556]
