General Notes: Husband - Obadiah Eddy


He was admitted to the free­dom of the colony, June 9, 1683; was constable in 1679-81-83-89. He settled in Middleboro on land belonging to his father. During King Philip's war the houses of the inhabitants of Middleboro were destroyed by fire, among them that of Obadiah Eddy. After the war he returned to Middleboro and rebuilt. In 1682 he was surveyor, and in 1690 a selectman of Middleboro.
