General Notes: Husband - Robert Brierley

He was the first settler of the Brierly name to come to Mifflin township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and there passed into after life, engaged in farming.

He was born in Ireland and accompanied his parents to Harford County, Maryland, where he was reared. In 1777 he came to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he secured a deed for a large tract of land in Mifflin township.
