General Notes: Husband - John Brierley


He and his wife were married in Ireland in 1743, and in 1750 came to Pennsylvania, settling in Lancaster County, where he engaged in farming.

They landed in America, July 28, 1750, settling in Harford County, Maryland, about twelve miles from Bellaire, where as late as 1885 his stone house was standing and occupied. His descendants are many in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and the western states.
