General Notes: Husband - John Spence Wallace

His education was acquired in the public schools of his native township. At an early age he commenced to assist his father in the cultivation of the home farm. He was always energetic and progressive in his farming as well as his business methods. When he had attained manhood he purchased a farm for himself, and the cultivation of this property engaged his time and attention for many years. It consisted of two hundred and thirty-six acres, some of it used for pasturage, some for fruit growing and some for general produce. He was eminently successful in his operations. Mr. Wallace's religious adherence was with the United Presbyterian Church.
