General Notes: Husband - Christian Strohm


He was seven years of age when he came with his parents to America. He was a farmer by occupation, and lived his entire life in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Mennonite church.

He owned a farm of over three hundred acres in East Huntingdon township which he was engaged in cultivating for many years prior to his death. He was a whig in politics and a member of the Mennonite church. He and his wife reared a family of seven children, four sons and three daughters. [BHCWC, 518]
