General Notes: Husband - William Line


He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He was in the service at the time of the Trenton and Princeton battles, and to his lot it fell to take some of the Hessian prisoners as laborers on the farm. His sword was held as a relic in the family for over a century.

He served in the Revolutionary war in Capt. Roland's company of Associators of Leacock township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, associated on the 5th of July, 1773. He was a Swiss.
