General Notes: Husband - Adolph A. Streng


He was educated in the common schools, Meyersdale Preparatory School and he graduated from California State Normal School. He taught seventeen years of school, four of which were spent as High School teacher of Latrobe, and eight as principal of the Latrobe schools. He was a member of the Lutheran church, a member of Loyalhanna Lodge, No. 475, Free and Accepted Masons, at Latrobe; Urania Chapter, No. 192, and Kedron Commandery, No. 18, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Whilst at Latrobe he was superintendent of Sunday school and member of the official board of the church.


General Notes: Wife - Corinne Boyd Smith


She was educated in the Fort Palmer district school and at the Independent Academy of Fairfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and the Summer School. She graduated in 1902 at the Indiana State Normal School and taught for five years in the rural schools in Bolivar, in Greensburg and Latrobe.
