General Notes: Husband - Isaac Reep, Sr.

He was born on the site of Philadelphia, PA, and when a lad of ten years of age carried supplies to the soldiers in the Continental army, in which his father was serving. He grew to manhood on the homestead farm, and in 1801 came to Butler County, making the journey in a wagon, and entered a tract of 400 acres of land on the line of Fairview and Parker townships. It was covered with an unbroken forest, in the midst of which he built a cabin and began the work of making a home. He and his wife reared a family of five children.
