She spent most of her adult life as a teacher in Utica, Venango County, Pennsylvania. She taught her last three years at Oil City. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Utica. She died after a long illness.

Miss Susan M. Runninger, died at her home in Utica on Tueday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock, after a long illness.
Three sisters survive: Mrs. S. A. McMurray, of Frenchcreek township; Mrs. Margaret Craig, and Miss Belle Runninger, of Utica.
Miss Runninger spent most of her life as a school teacher. Much of her teaching was done in the Utica schools, the last three years in Oil City. Two years ago she retired at the age of 63.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian church, of Utica.
Funeral services will be held at her home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. They will be conducted by Rev. Dr. McQuiston, of Cochranton. Interment in Millcreek cemetery.
