General Notes: Husband - Daniel Royer


He was a tanner by trade. From Royer's ford, Montgomery County, he removed to near Waynesboro, in Franklin County, and afterward to Blair County, where he built Springfield furnace in 1815.

He was a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and an ironmaster in Blair County as early as 1815, when he built Springfield Furnace.

He and his wife had ten children, of whom four were still living in 1883.
