General Notes: Husband - Hon. Samuel Royer


He was a prominent iron master, and, with his brother John, erected Franklin and Cove forges, where they made charcoal iron. He was an influential man, a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and a whig, and represented Huntingdon County, in 1832, in the legislature. He was also a member of one of the constitutional conventions.

He had six children with his first wife. With his second wife, he had three sons and one daughter.
