General Notes: Husband - William C. Turner


marriage he worked his father's farm one year on the shares then performed a like duty for his father-in-law for three-fourths of a year. He then went to Mercer and purchased a half interest in the Sheriff foundry, which he carried on about ten years. He returned to Jackson township and purchased the Wallace farm which he worked two years, then again sold out and went to Franklin, Pennsylvania, and engaged in the lumber trade. He soon returned to the area of his nativity again and purchased the Joseph Ringer farm.
