MATRIMONIAL
SUCHANSKY—REESER.
A wedding of special interest to residents of Rockland Township took place June 19 at Mogadore, O., when Miss Doris Viola Reeser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reeser, became the bride of John E. Suchansky, also of Magadore, who is now serving with the U. S. Navy.
The ceremony was performed by the pastor of the Disciples Church, at a twilight service at 8 p. m. The church was decorated with garden flowers and palms, and the traditional wedding marches were played by the church organist.
Mrs. Roy Reeser, Jr., was the matron of honor. The bride was gowned in ocean mist over white satin, with a train. Her floor-length veil was fastened with a wreath of orange blossoms. The bride carried white roses. The matron of honor was gowned in pastel pink, and carried pink rose buds. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a string of pearls.
A wedding supper and reception was held at the home of the bride's parents immediately following the ceremony. Later the young couple left for a short wedding trip to Cleveland, O. Mrs. Suchansky has been employed as a bookkeeper in the City Bank at Mogadore. At the end of his furlough Seaman Suchansky left for somewhere in Alaska, where he has been stationed for the past 17 months.
Mrs. Suchansky is well known among the younger set of Davis' Corners having visited frequently with her grandparents, the late J. C. Lusher, and Mrs. Minnie Lusher. She is the daughter of the former Miss Irene Lusher of Rockland.
