He married and settled at Heckla Furnace. He was an iron-master; lived in Bellefonte, Ferguson, Ft. Marion and Hope Furnace, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.

He was an iron master and followed his occupation in various places, finally locat-ing in Hope Furnace, Mifflin County, Pennsyl-vania, where both he and his wife died; they were members of the Presbyterian church. [GPHAV, 696]
