General Notes: Husband - Dr. Robert G. Patton

He was educated in the public schools and studied dentistry under Dr. S. S. Patton, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and in 1867 began the practice of dentistry at Fayette City and Belle Vernon. He also owned a fine farm formerly the property of Michael Finley, one of the first settlers of the county. Dr. Patton devoted some of his time to the affairs of his farm and to raising and dealing in stock. He was an active democratic worker and held various offices in his township; was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church and I. O. O. F., at Fayette City.
