General Notes: Husband - John Neal


He grew to manhood in Erie County, Pennsylvania, and in 1820 moved to Butler County and settled near Centreville, in Slippery Rock township. He was one of the early jus-tices of the peace, a Democrat in politics, and a member of the Seceder church.
