General Notes: Husband - Thomas Wakefield


He married in Path valley, Cumberland (later Perry) County, Pennsylvania. After residing there some years, they moved to what is now Huntingdon County. He enlisted from Chester County and served in the Revolutionary army, and was at Valley Forge. In 1800 the family again moved to the west, to what is now Indiana County, Pennsylvania.

He and his wife had ten children.


General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Morton


She was a niece of John Morton, who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
