General Notes: Husband - William Nicklin


He came to America from England in 1833 and settled in Mercer County, PA.

He came to America in 1833 and the family settled in Nicklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania, the town being named after them. He died at Nicklin, having passed his life as a farmer and was very active in county affairs, including among his benefactions gifts of land for church and school purposes. [HNWP 3, 343]
