General Notes: Husband - Milton Ellsworth McMillan

He lost his life in an explosion in the Euclid Mine near Port Royal, December 9, 1903, in the nineteenth year of his age, where he was employed by the Pittsburg Coal Company as a civil engineer.
He was received into the Methodist Episcopal church on probation, February 20, 1899, and taken into full connection on the second day of July in the same year. For several years he served as usher in the church, and many remember the cheerful greeting and pleasant smile with which he always met them at the door. In the work of the Epworth League he was an important factor, having been a member for several years, and at the time of his death was treasurer of the local chapter, and one of the valued advisers of the president.
