General Notes: Husband - John Reed

---

He was born in County Down, Ireland, and immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1821, settling in Allegheny County, whence he removed to Mercer County. In 1837 he purchased the claim of James Nesbit, containing 116 acres, in Slippery Rock township, Butler County. There he spent the remaining years of his life. He was a member of Harmony Associate church, of Mercer township.
