General Notes: Husband - William P. Patterson


He was reared in Jackson Township, Mercer County, PA. In 1827 he located on his own farm, where he resided thereafter. He was captain in one of the early military companies. He held the office of supervisor, etc., of the township. He and wife were members of Springfield United Presbyterian Church, and he always, but once, voted the Democratic ticket.
