General Notes: Husband - William McCray

---

He was an early settler near Titusville, Oil Creek Township, Crawford County, PA.

He came from Cumberland County, PA, and settled in the northeast part of Oil Creek Township, which comprised the eastern half of the county, prior to 1810. His farm was near the Drake Well, which was the first one drilled for petroleum, by Colonel Edwin L Drake in 1859.
