General Notes: Husband - Peter Weddell


He was born on the family homestead, and received the benefit of the schools of that period until he reached the age of fifteen, when he learned the blacksmith's trade, which he then followed. In 1870 he located at a place near Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and operated a small farm in connection with his trade.
