General Notes: Husband - William Russell

His father was an early settler in Concord Township, Butler County, PA, to which he came from Eastern Pennsylvania. William and his wife moved to a farm in Venango County, where he cleared up a farm from the dense forest, about 100 acres, made improvements there and later sold the place [about 1847] and decided to make a prospecting trip to Illinois. On this his family remained behind and he subsequently returned to Butler County.

Besides the three children listed, there were at least two other children in this family - names unknown.
