General Notes: Husband - Robert Frederick Linn


He was educated in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and at Concord, Ohio, completing his studies at Pittsburgh. He came then to Burgettstown and for nine years was a member of the lumber firm of Linn Brothers. After his marriage he settled in West Burgettstown. He was a stockholder as well as officer in the Milling and Plate Ice Company, of Burgettstown; and was a stockholder in the Burgettstown National Bank. His business interests were numerous and he was credited with being a very able financier.
He and his wife were members of the First Presbyterian Church. In politics he was a Democrat and was a very active, progressive citizen. He was identified with both the Masons and the Odd Fellows.
