General Notes: Husband - John Lias


He was born in Maryland, and in 1820 came with Jacob Pontius to the site of Dayton, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, when it was an unbroken forest. He purchased a tract of three hundred and seventy acres of land, on which he lived until his death. He was a democrat and methodist.
