General Notes: Husband - Johann Knappenberger


He came from Switzerland to America in 1749 and settled in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the German Reformed church. A number of his sons settled in eastern Pennsylvania. Among his children were: Conrad, Adam, Henry, George and Philip, all of whom served in the Revolutionary War, two being officers.
