General Notes: Husband - Conrad Knappenberger


He came at the close of the Revolutionary War to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, from Northampton County, and bought three hundred acres of land from the Penn family in that county, in what was known as Denmark Manor Valley. His descendants spread to Clarion, Armstrong, Allegheny and Westmoreland counties, Pennsylvania, and also in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. Among his eight children, three settled in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
