General Notes: Husband - Jonas Roup McClintock Johnston


His life was spent on his native farm till 1887. In that year he built a large livery barn on his property at the corner of Ross and Hay streets, Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, where he engaged in business. He had formerly given some time to coal-mining and the sale of feed in connection with his farming operations. Besides his farm and livery property he was the owner of three houses in the borough.
