General Notes: Husband - William Hoover




He was reared in Bradford township, Centre County, Pennsylvania, and soon after his marriage began the development of a farm, transforming the raw land into rich and fertile fields.

After his marriage he purchased a partially improved farm in Bradford township, where he made his permanent home. He was a prominent Republican, and at various times was called upon to serve in township offices.
